SPEECH PERCEPTION The perception of the form of speech from the point of view of linguopsychology, as well as the problem of the relationship between language and consciousness, requires knowledge of the linguistic features of its functioning. The level of perception reflects both the sequence of processing speech signals and the level of constructing speech messages in the context of communication. Perception of the language content as a whole is a process of strategy and evaluation, as well as interpretation of speech utterances. UNCONSCIOUS PERCEPTION "Our speech itself," L.V. Shcherba [31, p. 107] wrote in 1912, «seems to us so natural, so connected with the things of which it is that the purpose of a scientist is to express the inexpressible in the paradigm of cognitive research. Pushkin perfectly described the risks and psychosomatic and spiritual metamorphoses associated with the fulfillment of this destiny in his poem "The Prophet". – Inspiration. To determine this elusive condition, Potebnya [23, p. 89] used the verses of Mandelstam: I love the appearance of fabric, When after two or three, And then four suffocations A straightening sigh will come. – Inspiration is spiritual straightening. But, based on the scientific heritage of Potebnya [23, p. 90], it is possible to propose an alternative – dissonant, but essential – concept – "exhalation", because cognitive linguistics, most likely, is more about cathartic exhalation than about cumulative inhalation. – A prophecy. The cognitive scientist is capable of prophecies, thanks to the very "rewiring" of the bodily and spiritual composition of the personality described in the brilliant Pushkin poem. Radically updated sensitivity – the ability to hear "both the reptile of the sea underwater, and the length of the vine vegetating". Or to see a Dalmatian in a birch tree...
