Пособие представляет собой комплекс учебных материалов на основе примеров из художественной литературы классических и современных британских и американских авторов, предназначенных для поэтапного формирования у студентов навыков анализа и интерпретации художественного текста. Упражнения включают как тестовые упражнения, направленные на формирование навыков нахождения и работы с отдельными стилистическими средствами, так и задания по интерпретации отрывков различного объема и законченных рассказов, составленные по степени сложности.
Пособие предназначено для студентов старших курсов, обучающихся по направлению подготовки 44.03.05 – педагогическое направление (профиль – иностранный язык (с двумя языками)) и владеющих базовыми компетенциями по стилистике английского языка.
